Dr. Estrada is probably the highest recommended vet at Lake Atitlán, and for good reason:
He genuinely cares about animals, he listens to the concerns of pet owners, always completes a thorough examination, and he takes his time to investigate the problem and solution. Many people know him for the volunteer work he does every week in the pet sterilization clinics around the lake and his work with Selaine at Ayuda Para la Salud de Perros y Gatos.
Dr. Estrada has an office in Sololá and he also makes house calls for an addition fee. He now has an office in Panajachel. He’s in Pana in the mornings and Solola in the afternoons.

Our patients pay whatever they feel they can afford, if anything, as it is strictly voluntary for our patients to make donations. We do encourage our patients to pay if they can, to help with the acquisition of medicines for others who are unable to provide for their healthcare and to help us pay our rent.
